hanging laundry is a good way of saving energy, having fresh smelling clothing, getting oxygen into your lungs, moving around, and saving money. i recommend that where and whenever possible, no one use that damn dryer.... best, joel

:-) I remember hours of hanging laundry as a kid, pinning it just right so that linens would billow out and catch the breeze. It smells so sweet when you bring it back in. We'd go to church and one of the hymns often sung had a line that went "Bringing in the sheeves," meaning the bound bundles of grain after the harvest. I always heard "Bringing in the sheets." It was years before I realized I was hearing it wrong. With all of the equipment we have working for us now, what do kids do as chores?

Hi Friends, I still hang my cloths out on the line . Living in New Brunswick makes it difficult in the winter but I still pick the perfect days to hang out the Sheets on a nice sunny crisp day . My kids always comment on how nice their cloths smell!!
